“ Decided to try this place since we were looking for an Italian place on the Westside that we could go to during work hours. This place is it. The food was amazing and very tasteful. The service was great. The waitress that helped us was very funny and helpful and very personable. The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit making it a romantic type of place that would be suitable for date night and they had a small bar area to sit at if you prefer. I'm sure we will be back again ”

They talked about how beloved this restaurant is in the neighborhood! Loved the nearby chatter at the tables around us. The Lavern salad was very light and refreshing. The margarita pizza was divine! The bread crust the best I've had! I would suggest adding lower price options under appetizers as it was hard to find anything reasonably priced to snack on while waiting for my party to arrive. ”

“ My sweet son turned 17 and wanted to try something new for an early dinner before heading out with friends. I scoured Yelp for gnocchi- one of his favorites- and landed on this place around the mountain from us. I'm so glad we opted to try it. I got a variety of vegetarian options from the mushroom rigatoni, spinach/cheese ravioli, pesto gnocchi, cheese calzone, to their margherita pizza. Oh- and their focaccia bread! Everything was SO good. It was coldish by the time we brought it home, simply because it was over 25min away- but it heated up nicely and I imagine if you eat-in it would be PERFECT. I highly recommend this restaurant! ”
“ We had to travel to the west Phoenix area and once we arrived we needed to eat. We looked at local restaurants and decided to give Mimi Forno a go. Very nice decor, not overly loud and not super bright. We were promptly seated and quickly our drink order was taken. We started with the Bruschetta Profumata. A delightful light airy appetizer with mozzarella and prosciutto and a very clean olive oil. My son had the Rigatoni salsiccia E Ricotta, it was so well seasoned it could smelled as they were bringing it to the table. Creamy sauce delicious sausage this was a fantastic noodle dish. The butcher pizza was chock full of meats, delicious sauce and creamy mozzarella cheese. This little Italian restaurant is a one of a kind gem in the desert. A+++ can't wait to go back. ”

They have a really nice menu that deserves to be explored. The restaurant is small but they have a bar and it appears to be a good spot for a date. It's easy to overheat folks conversations due to how close the tables are to each other. ”
